Computer Vision
Explore computer vision methods used to detect, track, and support intelligent drone control.

Computer vision-based drone control uses cameras and algorithms to detect, track, and support intelligent flight behaviour. The course introduces perception concepts, detection and tracking methods, and how vision outputs can inform drone control. Learners look at the technologies involved in vision-assisted operation and the practical considerations of using computer vision in aerial systems. The course is technical and introductory in nature. It does not claim that learners will deploy autonomous systems in regulated airspace.
This course introduces computer vision concepts applied to drone control and perception, including detection, tracking, and vision-assisted operation.
After working through this course, learners should be able to:
The curriculum is organised into modules. Lesson content will be delivered in a later learning platform phase.
